At Bone and Joint Specialists, our philosophy is to enable our patients to have the best possible quality of life.  We view surgery as the means of last resort and will employ non-invasive strategies whenever possible.  However, there are times, when surgery will provide the best outcome and quality of life for the individual. We will take the time to carefully review all options along with the pros and cons of each strategy.  Ultimately, if it is not an emergent case, the decision on the strategy is up to the patient.

With over 50 years of combined orthopaedic experience, we offer the most experience in orthopaedics of any practice in Northwest Indiana.  Our combined expertise provides us with a wealth of knowledge and resources.   Each physician with Bone and Joint Specialists is board certified and in good standing with the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Our Board Certified and fellowship trained surgeons specialize in hand, shoulder and upper extremity surgeries.  We also specialize in sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, and joint reconstruction.  We also offer the latest in knee and hip replacements, utilizing methods to maximize your recovery while lessening the discomfort.
