Mohammad Said Shukairy, MD is an experienced neuro and spine surgeon joining us from Community Hospital.
He is passionate about minimally invasive spinal surgery, including spinal micro reconstruction and motion preservation/restoration, spinal health, recovery from acute spinal injuries and crises, and improvement in health span and lifespan through exercise training and nutrition.
Dr Shukairy has been practicing in Northwest Indiana for more than 12 years and brings a wealth of expertise to Bone and Joint Specialists.
His educational background includes: bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, medical degree from University of Toledo, neurosurgery residency training at Henry Ford Hospital, and fellowship training in complex and minimally invasive spinal surgery at Rush University. He has unique training in that he has learned from both neuro and ortho spine surgeons.
Hobbies include hiking, lifting weights, reading and learning, and traveling.
